Abundant Borders
Abundant Borders has a mission to alleviate food insecurity by encouraging people to grow their own food in a climate and environmentally friendly way, using the principles of permaculture.
When it comes to making climate friendly food choices, we are used to thinking in terms of food miles; the fewer the food miles the better, but this isn’t always the case. When it comes to climate change, how food is produced can be more important that where it is produced. We believe that governments should be doing much more to ensure that people understand the climate impacts of their food choices.
